Rams Move to 13-4, 4-0

Playing at home for the first time in almost a month, Colorado State volleyball swept their Mountain West Conference opponents for the second straight week.

On Friday night outside hitters Becky Sauer and Casey Bauer led the Rams to a 30-23, 30-26, 30-19 victory over the UNLV Rebels (6-8, 0-3). Saturday's match against San Diego State was again dominated by the outside hitters as Tess Rogers posted 16 kills and Sauer added 14 kills while hitting .500.

Next on the Ram's schedule is a trip to Laramie for the Border War against the Wyoming Cowgirls on Friday, Oct. 10 at 7:00 pm.

Quick Fact: Volleyball hitting efficiency is calculated by subtracting hitting errors (attacks that blocked, hit out of bounds or hit into the net) from kills (attacks that are not defended by the opponent) and dividing by total attack attempts. In the SDSU match, Sauer attacked 22 balls, killing 14 with only 3 errors: 14-3=11/22=.500.
